Our report, US and the High Cost of Child Care: A Review of Prices and Proposed Solutions for a Broken System, released Oct. 22, 2018, provides a brief review of child care as a sound return on investment and shares our policy recommendations for supporting families and child care providers. It also shows how Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agencies and other similar organizations play a major role in connecting families to child care, supporting the child care workforce, as well as supporting adequately-funded state systems of support for child care.

The 2018 Cost of Child Care Report is here.

Parents and families, with multiple children rely on quality child care to balance home life and continue to work. Hear more stories like Sheena’s as part of our Family Voices Blog/Vlog series.
