Upon acknowledging this important occasion of their 25th Anniversary, Child Care Aware® of America also appreciates Child Care Aware® of Kansas’ Executive Director, Leadell Ediger for her excellent leadership and guidance during her service as board member and board president of Child Care Aware® of America.
Of Child Care Aware® of Kansas’ milestone, Ediger said, “Child Care Aware® of Kansas is pleased to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in 2016. This milestone marks years of working to improve the quality of early childhood settings in Kansas thus, ensuring that families have the necessary information they need to make the right choice for their young child. We are humbled by the confidence placed with us by funders, partners and most importantly, the CCR&Rs in Kansas. Without their strong support and willingness to engage in new adventures, while still supporting the early childhood workforce and families in Kansas, we would not have had such a long and successful history. I am grateful for a strong board of directors who have expected excellence and a willing and creative staff who have risen to the challenge each and every time. Here’s to another 25 years!”
