In this webinar, we discuss how the vaccines were developed and tested. Experts answer common questions about the vaccines, including how to access them and what to expect. You'll Hear from child care providers about their experiences with the COVID-19 vaccines, as well as a pediatrician who will explain how the vaccines work.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has directed states to get all early childhood educators, Head Start employees, school educators and staff their first COVID-19 vaccination by the end of the month. To help understand how this vaccine access opportunity for the child care community is being implemented. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed a short survey to learn:
- The estimated number of program staff who have received a COVID-19 vaccination
- Staff’s reasons for getting vaccinated
- Concerns or challenges from people who have not been vaccinated
Encourage your staff to complete the survey by March 31, 2021. The survey is completely anonymous, and individual responses will not be reported. If you receive the link multiple times, please complete the survey just once.
