Recorded April 7, 2022.

In Child Care Aware of America’s latest research report, “Demanding Change: Repairing our Child Care System,” it was found that from December 2019 to March 2021, 6,957 licensed family child care programs (FCCP) closed in those 36 states. This represents a 10% loss in FCCP. Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agencies are at the ready and well positioned to support the recruitment and retention of family child care and home-based programs through Staffed Family Child Care Networks (SFCCN).

The Child Care Systems Building Team at Child Care Aware of America invites you to join us for an informative webinar to highlight resources and supports captured in a new resource compilation, “Staffed Family Child Care Networks: A Compilation of Resources Promoting Connection and Opportunity.” This compilation is aimed at providing CCR&Rs additional guidance and information to support and revitalize their ongoing work with these providers. An opportunity to hear from a peer CCR&R Program and FCCPs in the field on their experiences participating in a SFCCN will be provided. All webinar participants will be invited to join us in a future Peer Learning Community entitled “Meaningful Networks: Creating Opportunities for Connection with Family Child Care Providers and Programs.”
