Wildfires Resources
Every year, wildfires burn across the United States, and a growing number of people are living where wildfires are a real risk. On August 6th, 48 large fires were reported in 11 states. Hurricane Preparedness
Being prepared before a hurricane is crucial. CCAoA offers a Hurricane Season Preparation guide to help you start getting ready. Due to COVID-19, it is recommended that you have extra face coverings, hand sanitizer, cleaning products and sanitizing wipes in addition to the traditional emergency preparedness supplies.

Coronavirus and Child Care: Stories from the Field
Lesia Daniels is the director of a family-owned child care center in Clinton, Mississippi. For the first time since COVID-19 struck, she is back to full enrollment. Though the center’s income has returned to pre-pandemic levels, Lesia may be forced to close by the end of the year.
